Dynamic Aspects of Accommodation Photographic Records of the 3rd Purlkinje-Image showing Changes in Size Associated with Accommodation

I．緒言

　近視発生機転には種々の要因が考えられているが，過度の近業が後天近視の重要な成因であることは周知の通りである。従つて近視の成因に関して調節作用の方面より追求することは最も重要かつ基本的な課題である。近視の調節機能についての研究は，Hönig^1）により調節力が屈折異常によつて異なることが述べられて以来，江原^2），田上^2），矢野^3），大塚^4）氏らもこれを認めている。更に近年，調節時間の分析を試みて萩野^5），鈴村^5），佐野^6），堀^7）氏らは調節緊張と弛緩との間に屈折状態により特別な関係があることを報告し，水川^8）氏らは調節時間曲線に特別な変化を見出している。しかし，それらの業績による調節力とは専ら水晶体の変形度を表わしたものであり，調節時間は水晶体の変形の開始より終結までの時間を表わしたものであつて，調節の一断面の追求に過ぎない。調節の原動力となる毛様体筋の収縮力，水晶体の張力，脈絡膜の牽引力等については生体眼で測定することは出来ないが，しかしその総合力学的変動によつて生ずる水晶体の動態から個々の力量を推測分析検討することにより調節機能の本態をある程度追求することが可能である。

　なお，直接水晶体前面曲率半径の時間的変化の実測は殆んど行なわれていないが，私は，ここにPurkinje-Sanson像を映画撮影し，比較的正確にその動態をとらえることが出来たので，時間—水晶体前面曲率半径曲線の有する意味について一考察を加える。

It has been shown in the previous paper of the author that the change in the curvature of the anterior surface of the crystalline lens is the major variant among various changes in the refractive elements of the eye during accommodation.

The author now succeeded in seriol cine-photography of the 3rd Purkinje image which changes during accommodation. The time accommodation was measured from the photo-graphed 3rd Purkinje image at 24 frames per second and further analysis was made on the relationship between the time of accommoda-tion and changes in the apparent curvature of the anterior surface of the crystalline lens toreach the following conclusions :
