眼科領域におけるCephaloridineの基礎的および臨床的研究

Use of Cephaloridine in Ophthalmology-An Experimental and Clinical Study.

I．緒言

　Cephaloridine （Ceporan）は1945年Brotzuにより，イタリア・サルジニア島海岸で分離されたカビの一種Cephalosporium acremoniumが産生する抗菌成分Cephalosporin Cより得た化合物より合成して作られた抗生物質である。本剤の発見はかなり古いが，その後の化合物合成研究に時間がかかり，最近になり初めて海外の文献にclosed upされたものである。その構造式を見るとペニシリン核と類似した核をもつているがペニシリンとは交叉アレルギーがなく，しかもペニシリナーゼに強い抵抗性を有し，注目に値する抗生物質である^13）。私達はこのCephaloridineの眼科領域における基礎的研究と，若干の臨床応用を試みたので報告する。

1. Rabbit experiments were made to assess the content of Cephaloridine in the plasma and the aqueous after intramuscular injection. The highest plasma level was reached at 30 minutes after injection and followed by a sharp decline thereafter. The aqueous humor level showed a gradual increase initially, rea-ched the maximal value after 2 hours and followed by a gradual decline. The rate of in-traocular penetration of Cephaloridine, there-fore, increased with the lapse of time after injection.

2. The maximal aqueous humor level was-reached at 1 hour after subconjunctival injec-tion of Cephaloridine.
