網膜色素変性の他覚的機能検査法としてのERGとEOG

Relationship between the ERG and the EOG in retinal pigmentary degeneration as an objective functional examination

I．緒言

　網膜疾患の検査法としては，視力，視野，色覚，光覚等の自覚的検査法の外に，他覚的検査法としてERGがあり，ERGは夜盲を主訴とする疾患群に於て，その診断及び予後判定上重要な意味をもつものである。

　網膜色素変性では，電子工学の発展に伴う測定器具の進歩と測定技術の改善により，かなりの率にERGが検出されるようになつたとは言うものの，尚一般に本症のERGはextinguishedとされている。

We had investigated ERGs and EOGs in 86 cases of the primary pigmentary degenera-tion of the retina and 3 cases of the secon-dary pigmentary degeneration of the retina, and we have obtained the following conclu-sions.

1. We confirmed normal type ERG in the dark adaptation's course from 13 eyes of 7 cases out of 86 cases of the primary pig-mentary degeneration of the retina. The EOG-time curve in these cases mostly sho-wed extremely low base values.

The abnormality of EOG appears to develop earlier than that of ERG as shown by 7 eyes of subnormal type and 6 eyes of flat type.
