I.緒言
Gargoylismは比較的稀な疾患で,その眼症状について,本邦では若山—板垣の2例及び鈴木他の1例の記載があるに過ぎない。私共は最近この1例を経験したので,その概要を追加報告したいと思う。
The case is a 11-year-old girl with a chief complaint of visual disturbance of both eyes.
At the initial examination ciliary injection was noted in both eyes and the surface of the cornea was coarse with opacity extending throughout all the corneal layers. The ocular tension of the left eye was computed at 6/10, while that of the right eye at 4/10. After about 2 weeks the ocular tension decreased to the normal value and the ciliary injection also disappeared, but the diffuse opacity of the cornea persisted. Under slit lamp micros-cope no opacity was noted in the epithelium or the Bowman's membrane.
