Abstract 文献概要

　ヘキサメトニウム塩（C₆）の高血圧に対する治療効果に就ては多くの報告があるが，眼圧に就ては余り報告多からず，Cameron and Burn （1952），Barnett （1952），　Rycroft and Romanes （1952），吾国では三国教授等（昭28,29）の報告を見るのみである。

　最近May　＆　Baker社研究所より化学構造上C₆に類似し更に強力な自律神経遷断剤PentaPyrrolidinium BitartrateがAnsolysenの名称で提供された。本剤の毒性，藥理作用に就てはWien and Mason （1953）の研究があり臨床的にはCampbell Maxwell等の実験があつてC₆に勝る事が指摘されているが，眼圧に就ては記載がない。

Intraocular tension decreases after subcutaneous injection of pentapyrrolidinium bitartrate (Ansolysen). This reducing of tension is observed much more in glaucomatous eye than in normal ones.

Since ansolysen has higher degree of decreasing tension and longer duration than CG, it may be effective in the treatment of glaucoma especially in the acute attack or for the preli-minary measures before surgical procedure such as basal iridectomy or scleral treph-ining in cases with markedly increased tension.

Ansolysen combines mere often mydriasis with paralysis of accomadatoin than C6.
