要約　目的：混濁した角膜での白内障手術を練習するために作製した豚眼モデルの報告。材料と方法：ウエットラボ用の摘出豚眼を用い，ジアテルミーで角膜混濁を作製した。これを使って白内障手術を練習した。結果：数分間で，角膜の表層，実質，深部のどの部位にも意図する大きさの混濁が作製できた。この人工的に作った角膜の混濁部位では前房の視認性が悪く，手術の際の操作性を実感できた。結論：今回の方法で，短時間で角膜混濁を作ることができ，前房の視認性が不良な眼での白内障手術の練習に有用であることが期待できる。

Abstract.　Purpose：To report a model of opaque cornea in the porcine eye for practice of cataract surgery. Material and Method：Corneal opacity was produced by applying diathermy in excised pig eye. Cataract surgery was practiced on this model. Results：It was possible to produce corneal opacity either in the superficial,stromal or deep layer within a few minutes. Surgical manipulation could be practiced on this model with poor visibility of the anterior chamber. Conclusion：Opaque cornea of any type and any shape could be produced with this method. It promises to be of value in the practice of cataract surgery on eyes with cloudy cornea.
