要約　背景：プリーは，赤道部の後方で眼球を輪状に取り巻くテノン囊の一部で，前方は制御靭帯，後方は外眼筋の筋膜に移行し，外側は眼窩骨壁に連絡する。目的：磁気共鳴画像検査（MRI）で正常者の直筋プリーの位置を検索した結果の報告。対象と方法：正常な13例20眼を対象とした。年齢は21～59歳（平均30歳）である。MRIで眼窩を冠状断として撮像し，眼球赤道部から9mm後方の直筋重心から直筋プリーの位置を求めた。眼球中心を0とし，水平方向は耳側を，垂直方向は上方を＋として位置を記載した。結果：内直筋は－13.45±0.71mmと－1.66±0.72mm，外直筋は9.71±0.72mmと－2.58±1.02mm，上直筋は－1.62±0.99mmと10.15±0.54mm，下直筋は－4.85±0.91mmと－12.79±0.96mmであった。結論：外眼筋の4直筋のプリーの位置は，垂直と水平方向では個体差が小さく，安定している。

Abstract.　Purpose：To report the location of pulleys of rectus muscles in normal persons using magnetic resonance imaging（MRI）. Cases and Method：This study was made on 20 eyes of 13 healthy volunteers. The age ranged from 21 to 59 yeas,average 30 years. Location of pulleys was calculated on the MRI coronal section of the orbit. Point zero was defined as 9 mm posterior to the equator. Results：Pulley of medial rectus averaged －13.45±0.71 mm horizontally and －1.66±0.72 mm vertically,that of lateral rectus 9.71±0.72 mm and －2.58±1.02 mm respectively,that of superior rectus －1.62±0.99 mm and 10.15±0.54 mm,and that of inferior rectus －4.85±0.91 and －12.79±0.96 mm. Conclusion：Location of pulleys of rectus muscles shows small interindividual differences and good stability in horizontal and vertical planes.
