要約　目的：黄斑上膜に硝子体手術を行った後の視力，中心窩厚，黄斑部体積の報告。対象と方法：特発性黄斑上膜36例36眼を対象とした。年齢は57～81歳（平均69歳）であり，23ゲージ硝子体手術を行い，14眼ではトリアムシノロン併用の内境界膜を剝離した。中心窩厚の計測には光干渉断層計を使い，術後6か月までの経過を追った。結果：術後1か月と3か月では視力が有意に改善し，中心窩厚と黄斑部体積は減少した。術後3か月と6か月とでは差がなかった。中心窩厚または黄斑部体積の減少例では，視力改善が有意に多かった。術後視力は年齢が高いほど不良であった。結論：特発性黄斑上膜への硝子体手術では，術後3か月まで視力が改善し，中心窩厚と黄斑部体積が減少する。

Abstract.　Purpose：To report changes in visual acuity,foveal thickness,and macular volume following vitreous surgery for epiretinal membrane. Cases and Method：This study was made on 36 eyes of 36 patients who received 23 G vitreous surgery for idiopathic epiretinal membrane. The age ranged from 57 to 81 years,average 69 years. Inner limiting membrane was peeled in 14 eyes using triamcinolone. Foveal thickness was measured by optical coherence tomography. Cases were followed up for 6 months. Results：Visual acuity improved with reduced foveal thickness and macular volume one and three months after surgery. The findings remained the same up to 6 months. Visual acuity improved more in cases with reduced foveal thickness or macular volume. Final visual acuity was poorer in patients of advanced age. Conclusion：Vitreous surgery for epiretinal membrane results in improved visual acuity,decreased foveal thickness and reduced macular volume up to 3 postoperative months.
