I．緒言

　先天性脳梁欠損（Agenesis of corpus callosum, Bal—kenmangel）は比較的稀な奇形で，1812年Reil^1）によりはじめて記載された（Davidoff　＆　Dyke^2）。その後この疾患についてはいくつかの症例報告，あるいは綜説が発表されている。1922年Mingazzini^3）は脳梁の完全欠損43例を含む71症例を集めてその臨床ならびに病理所見を綜括し，1933年Baker　＆　Grave^4）は82例の報告を集めるとともに彼らの自験例1例を追加した。これらはいずれも剖検に基づく症例で，現在までに脳梁欠損の剖検例は約150例といわれる。

　その後，気脳写の普及に伴い本症の生前における診断が可能となつた。Davidoff　＆　Dyke^2）はNew YorkのNeurologicai Instituteにおける1,100気脳写中3例で脳梁欠損を診断し，Maurer^5）はBonn大学1,670例の気脳写中1例，またKruger^6）は1939年以前にNer—venklinik der Chariteで行なつた全気脳写（全例数不明）中2例，Pospiech^7）は1,000気脳写中3例で本症をみいだしており，気脳写での発見率はほぼ0.1〜0.3％と考えられる。

1. A case of agenesis of the corpus callosum, di-agnosed by lumbar pneumography and studied fur-ther by cerebral angiographies, has been reported in a 19-month-old girl.

2. The patient presented herself with the com-plaints of a slight degree of mental and physical retardation, and an abnormal flattening of the occi-pital region. No abnormal neurological findings were noted on examination.

3. Angiographic features of agenesis of the corpus callosum have been summarized.

4. The present case accompanied (i) early closure of the coronal suture, and multiple develop-mental anomlies of the cerebral arteries-accessory middle cerebral artery or abnormal bleubner's artery, reduplication of the whole length of the basilar artery, and fenestration of the cranial portion of the right vertebral artery.

5. Embryological significance of these anomalous vessels has been discussed.
