ナツメ種子の誤飲による回腸穿孔の1例

A case of perforation of the small bowel due to an ingested jujube seed

誤飲による消化管異物はその多くが自然排泄され，消化管穿孔をきたすことはまれであり^1），なかでも植物種子が原因となることは非常にまれである^2）。今回我々は，ナツメの種子により小腸穿孔をきたし，緊急手術を要した症例を経験したので報告する。

A 3-year-old girl presented with abdominal pain. CT revealed a spindle-shaped structure in the terminal ileum, indicating a suspected foreign body. Surgery confirmed a perforation caused by a sharp food seed, which was sutured. Postoperatively, it was found she had ingested a jujube seed. The case highlights the rarity of gastrointestinal perforation from food seeds and the importance of recognizing the characteristic spindle-shaped CT findings associated with sharp objects like jujube seed.
