臨床，画像的に転移性脳腫瘍が疑われ，術後の病理診断で脳膿瘍であった1例

A case of brain abscess with postoperative pathological diagnosis after clinical and imaging suspicion of metastatic brain tumor

脳膿瘍と転移性脳腫瘍の鑑別に苦慮する場合がある。今回我々は，臨床，画像的に転移性脳腫瘍が疑われ，術後の病理診断で脳膿瘍であった症例を，文献的考察もふまえて報告する。

MRI is useful in differentiating brain abscesses from metastatic brain tumors. However, they can show similar findings. In this article, we present a case of a pathologically diagnosed brain abscess, although a metastatic brain tumor was suspected on CT and MRI.
