神経鞘腫（schwannoma）は良性腫瘍であるが，FDG集積亢進やリンパ節腫大を伴う場合がある。今回まれな食道神経鞘腫の1例を経験したが，腫瘍のFDG集積亢進や周囲のリンパ節腫大を伴っていたために術前の画像診断が困難であったので，若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する。

We reported a case of esophageal schwannoma in a late 30’s female. The tumor showed FDG uptake and enlarged lymph nodes, mimicking malignant tumor. Gastrointestinal schwannomas have been reported to show significantly higher FDG uptake compared to non-gastrointestinal schwannomas. The presence of enlarged benign lymph nodes is a characteristic findings of gastrointestinal schwannomas in differentiating from other submucosal tumors such as leiomyoma and GIST.
