18F-FDGの高集積とリンパ節腫大を認めた胃神経鞘腫の1例

A case of gastric schwannoma with hyperaccumulation of 18F-FDG and lymphadenopathy

胃神経鞘腫は良性腫瘍である。消化管に発生した神経鞘腫は¹⁸F-FDGの高集積や近傍のリンパ節腫大を伴うことがあり，悪性腫瘍との鑑別がしばしば困難となる。今回我々は，胃粘膜下に発生した神経鞘腫を経験したので文献的考察を加え報告する。

Schwannoma arised from gastrointestinal tract can resemble malignancies due to hyperaccumulation of ¹⁸F-FDG and lymphadenopathy. A case of ¹⁸F-FDG-avid gastric tumor with lymphadenopathy diagnosed with gastric schwannoma is presented. Histopathologic examination revealed peritumoral lymphoid cuff, consistent with previous reports. It should be noted that hyperaccumulation of ¹⁸F-FDG and lymphadenopathy typically suggest malignancy on imaging, potentially leading to unnecessary treatments. Understanding characteristic imaging features based on histopathological findings is crucial for accurate diagnosis and treatment of gastric schwannoma.
