  • Look Inside

We devised an instrument that catches and extra corporeally removes the accidentally fallen stones, during laparoscopic cholecystectomy, using the pneumoperitoneal pressure. The instrument consists of an induction drain that catches and removes the fallen stones and a pack that collects the extracorporeally removed stones. One end of the induction drain, compreseed by a finger, is inserted into a trocar. Drain is plaud near the stone, the finger is removed. Because of the pneumoperitoneal pressure, the stones are instantaneously removed through the drain.
