比較的遭遇する頻度の高いIIP(IPF，NSIP，COP)の画像所見をレビューし，また，間質性肺疾患の画像診断の今後の課題についても触れた．multidisciplinary approachの中で，HRCTは重要な診断的手法であり，その典型像を背景の病理学的所見とともに理解しておくことが重要である．

This manuscript has reviewed the imaging characteristics of IIP, especially those concerning frequently-encountered entities such as IPF, NSIP and COP.　In the multidisciplinary approach proposed by ATS/ERS, HRCT has a definite role in diagnosing and executing the follow-up of IIP.　It is important to know of the typical HRCT appearances each IIP with understanding of the corresponding pathological findings.
