側頭骨線維骨異形成症の2症例

Fibrous Dysplasia of the Temporal Bone: Report of Two Cases

緒言

　線維骨異形成症は，線維性組織を伴った未熟骨組織の異常増殖をきたす原因不明の疾患であり，四肢および体幹骨によくみられるが，頭蓋骨もしばしばおかされる。しかし，頭蓋骨の中でも側頭骨病変は比較的まれである。今回，我々は真珠腫性中耳炎を合併した側頭骨線維骨異形成症2症例を経験したのでここに報告する。

In a 34-year-old man and a 78-year-old woman, the external auditory canal was obliterated and hearing was gradually disturbed. The second case showed a swelling of the temporal bone and laby-rinthitis. Roentgenological examinations in both cases revealed diffuse sclerosis in the temporal bone, and a swelling of the temporal bone was found in CT scan in both cases.

The radical operation was performed in both cases and there was cholesteatoma in the mastoid cavity.

Histological examination in both cases revealed the characteristic features of fibrous dysplasia.
