側頭下窩神経鞘腫の治療経験

Neurinoma of the Infratemporal Fossa

I．緒言

　側頭下窩は解剖学的にもまた臨床的にも特異な部位であり，ここに発生する腫瘍についての記述はきわめて少ない。さらに同部位に発生した神経鞘腫はわれわれが渉猟しえた限りでは本邦においてはみられない。最近われわれは側頭下窩に発生した神経鞘腫に対し手術的治療を行い良好な結果を得ることのできた症例を経験したので，これを報告するとともに若干の考察を加えてみた。

　A 44-year-old man had been suffering from double vision. Roentgenological examinations showed a homogenously cloudy shadow in the right infratemporal fossa. The mass was surgically extirpated by anterior transantral approach. Some literature concerning infratemporal fossa tumors was reviewed.
