口蓋扁桃ポリープの1例

A Case of Pedunculated Polyp of the Palatine Tonsil

I．緒言

　いわゆる振子様扁桃は母扁桃から茎をもって懸垂する扁桃と同一組織を有するものである^1）。一方口蓋扁桃の腫瘍も有茎性に口腔，咽頭へ突出していることがある。

　今回われわれは口蓋扁桃の振子様腫瘤でポリープと病理組織診断された症例を経験したので，若干の病理組織学的検討を加えて報告する。

　A rare case of pedunculated polyp of the palatine tonsil in a 12-year-old boy was reported. The polyp was found to be formed by outgrowth from the upper pole of the tonsil.

　In the histological studies, it contained fibrous tissue and many lymphatic canals in the pendulous portion, and the based tonsil showed several inflammatory changes.
