上咽頭異物の1症例

A Case of a Foreign Body in the Epipharynx

I．はじめに

　上咽頭異物は耳鼻咽喉科領域の異物の中では比較的少ないが，放置すれば種々の合併症を起こし，見逃すことはできない疾患である。われわれは今回稀な上咽頭異物の症例を経験したので，若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する。

　A 7-month-old female was presented with a foreign body of an ear of foxtail grass in the epipharynx. The foreign body in the epipharynx is uncommon, but when it is not removed, severe complications may occur.

　Our result was reported and the literature was reviewed. It was emphasized that detailed history-taking and careful examination are necessary to find it early.
