小児の耳下腺悪性腫瘍

Malignant Tumors of Parotid Gland in Children

I．緒言

　16歳以下の小児における耳下腺腫瘍の頻度は低い。我が教室では昭和35年から昭和55年の20年間に87例の耳下腺腫瘍を取り扱っているが^1），16歳以下の症例は7例（8.0％）にすぎない。そのうち悪性腫瘍は1例のみであった。昭和57年にさらにもう1例，小児耳下腺悪性腫瘍を経験した。そこで，この2例の臨床経過を若干の文献的考察を加え，報告する。

　Tumors of the parotid gland are relatively uncommon in children under 16 years of age. In children, in contrast to adults. about 50% of all parotid gland tumors are said to be malignant.

　Two cases of malignant tumors of the parotid gland in children were reported. The patients were a 4-year-old boy and a 12-year-old girl. In both cases, the histological examinations of the resected specimens revealed mucoepidermoid tumor which is the most common malignancy in the parotid gland in children.
