鼻前庭部に発生した平滑筋腫の2症例

Two Cases of Leiomyoma

I．はじめに

　耳鼻咽喉科領域における，平滑筋腫の発生は，比較的稀である。開業14年間（昭和44年〜57年）に，鼻前庭部に発生した，2例の平滑筋腫例を経験したので，その臨床病理学的知見につき述べ，些か文献的考察を加えて報告する。

　Two cases of leiomyoma in the nasal vestibule were reported.

　The first case was a 64-year-old housewife who complained of a painless swelling in the left nasal vestibule. The tumor gradually grew into the size of a thumb tip after frequent deterioration or remission for 20 years. The physical examination showed a swelling and fluctuation of the inferior portion of the ala nasi. The lesion was easily removed after incision of oral mucosa of the lip under local anesthesia. Recurrence has not been found for 5 years after the operation.

　The second case was a 29-year-old housewife who complained of a painless swelling in the right nostril. The pedicled tumor inside the ala nasi grew into the size of 1.5 × 1.0 × 1.0cm in 2 years, and it was easily extirpated under local anesthesia. No recurrence has been detected for 2 years post-operatively.

　The pathological examinations revealed leiomyoma originated from smooth muscle of blood vessels in both cases.
