鼻口蓋嚢胞が疑われた1症例

A Case of Nasopalatine Cyst

I．はじめに

　鼻口蓋嚢胞は上顎部に発生する嚢胞としては，比較的稀なものである。我々は最近，鼻口蓋嚢胞の1型である切歯管嚢胞と考えられる1例を経験したので報告する。

　A 30-year-old male attended our department with the swollen hard palate as a chief complaint. A cyst invading from the right nasal floor to the left maxillary sinus was confirmed by x-ray examination. Although there are various cysts of the maxillary sinus in origin, the differential diagnosis is possible if classified according to its site of occurrence, local findings, x-ray findings and the histopathological result.

　Nasopalatine cyst arising from the residual epithelium during the fetal face-formation stage is of rare disease, and we reported a suspicious case of incisive canal cyst, a type of nasopalatine cyst in this paper.
