硬口蓋の巨大な鼻口蓋管嚢胞の1症例

A Large Nasopalatine Duct Cyst in the Hard Palate:Report of a Case

　はじめに

　鼻口蓋管嚢胞は，胎生期に存在するとされる鼻口蓋管の残存上皮より形成される顎骨内嚢胞である。今回われわれは，硬口蓋の巨大な鼻口蓋管嚢胞の1症例を経験したので，若干の文献的考察を加え報告する。

A 14-year-old male presented with a large bulgedmass in the middle portion of the hard palate. Computed tomography revealed a lage defect in the maxillary bone. The common symptom of the cyst is palatal swelling in the mid-suture of the maxilla and it is important for differential diagnosis in association with its anatomical character. The cyst was extirpated with palatal approach, then a mucoperiostal flap was pressed toward the defect. The postoperative course was excellent.
