I．緒言
近年交通災害を含む各種災害による顔面外傷および顔面骨骨折が激増している。元来境界領域に位置する疾患であるが，耳鼻咽喉科医が治療を受け持たねばならない場合が多い。顔面の解剖や機能に詳しい耳鼻咽喉科医が積極的にこの部の骨折の治療にあたることは当然である。
われわれは昭和57年12月から昭和59年2月までの間に8例の顔面中1/3部骨折と2例の顔面下1/3部骨折を経験したので報告する。
Ten cases of facial bone fracture treated in our clinic for 1 year and 3 months were reported.
Ten cases included eight cases of malar bone fracture and two of mandibular bone fracture. Each case was classified by the patient's age, sex, its cause, the position of fracture, days before the examinations and operation, and main symptoms.
The classification of Knight was applied to eight cases of malar bone fracture. Complex fracture was observed in many cases.
We studied in detail on the points of findings on x-ray films, and on the operative findings and the ways of approach.
