前頭洞より発生した良性骨芽細胞腫の1症例

Benign Osteoblastoma in the Frontal Sinus, A Case Report

　I．はじめに

　良性骨芽細胞腫（benign ostcoblastoma）は1956年Jaffe^1）およびLichtenstein^2）によって命名された良性の骨腫瘍であるが，その多くは四肢あるいは椎骨に発生し，耳鼻喉咽科領域での報告は極めて少ない。

　最近，我々は眼球突出をきたした前頭洞由来の良性骨芽細胞腫の1例を経験したので報告する。

　A case of benign osteoblastoma which is rare tumor in the ENT region in the right frontal sinus is reported.

　A boy, aged 11, complained of exophthalmus and diplopia of the right eye. Radiological examinations revealed a large mass in the right frontal sinus which combined with a cystic shadow and extended upward to the anterior cranial fossa. After the removal of the tumor, his complaints were completely disappeared.

　It was supposed that the value of serum alkaline phosphatase could indicate the extent of osteoblastoma.
