側頭骨骨腫の1例

OSTEOMA OF TIIE TEMPORAL BONE: A CASE REPORT

　I．緒言

　耳鼻咽喉科領域における骨腫は，副鼻腔領域にしばしば見受けられるが，側頭骨骨腫は極めて稀である。1960年までにSinzinger^1）は，これを集めて報告しているが，40例しかない。本邦においては，1960年太田ら^2）が，巨大なる側頭骨骨腫の1症例を発表したのが最初であり，以来自験例を含めて6例しか報告されていない。今回筆者らは，側頭骨に発生した巨大な骨腫を経験したので若干の考察を加えて，ここに報告する。

　A rare case of osteoma of the temporal bone was reported. A 29-year-old female developed a mass in the right mastoid region. Osteoma was removed surgically and during the operation the tumor was found to be originating from the bony wall of the sigmoid sinus. The tumor size was 35 × 30 × 21mm and its weight was 21 g. Six cases of osteoma of the temporal bone including this case have been reported from 1960 to 1977 in Japan.
