興味ある歯根嚢胞の2症例

INTERESTING DENTAL CYSTS, A REPORT OF TWO CASES

　I．はじめに

　上顎および下顎には，原発性あるいは転移性に種々の嚢腫性疾患が認められるが，そのなかで歯に関係のあるものは歯系嚢胞と呼ばれており非歯系のものと区別されている。歯根嚢胞（radicularcyst）は濾胞性歯牙嚢胞（follicular cyst），歯周嚢胞（paradental cyst）と並んで歯系嚢胞の代表的なもので，巨大に発育した場合，患者は歯科医よりもむしろ耳鼻咽喉科医を訪ずれることが多いようである。著者は最近上顎および下顎に発生した大きな歯根嚢胞各1例を経験したので，なぜこのように大きくなるまで放置されたか，あるいはなぜわれわれ臨床医にとつて興味ある症例であるかについて若干の考察を加えて以下に述べてゆくことにする。

　The author reports two cases of bony cysts that developed, in one, in the mandibular bone, and, the other, in the maxilla. Both cysts apparently developed from the root of a loose tooth.

　It is important to make a diffirential diagnosis between the cyst and malignancy.
