乳突部表皮嚢胞の1症例

A Case of Mastoid Cyst

　はじめに

　乳突部に発生する嚢胞はまれなものであり，本邦では，1925年の下田^1）の報告以来28症例の報告がみられるが，その大部分が病埋学的にコレステリン肉芽腫で，類上皮腫はまれである。今回われわれは類上皮腫による乳突部嚢胞の1症例を経験したので報告する。

In a 47-year-old man with mastoid cyst, the left ear drum was normal after removal of ear wax. Plain mastoid x-ray films and CT suggested a mastoid cyst. Upon simple mastoidectomy, red brown serous fluid and white soft material were found in the cyst with very thin wall. Histopatho-logical diagnosis was epidermoid cyst suggesting congenital origin.
