特異な下咽頭・食道異物の2症例

AN EXTRAORDINARY PHARYNGO-ESOPHAGEAL FOREIGN BODY, A REPORT OF TWO CASES

　I．はじめに

　食道および咽頭の異物は，われわれ耳鼻咽喉科医にとつては決して稀なものではなく，日常診療においてもしばしば遭遇する疾患であり，早い時期であれば異物の発見および摘出は比較的に簡単な場合が多い様に思われる。しかし，長期間にわたつて嵌在した異物は，発見が困難であるばかりでなく，その摘出に際して危険を伴うことが多い。

　今回，われわれは長期間にわたり嵌在し腫瘍を疑われた薬剤（錠剤）のメタルパックの異物の2症例を経験したのでその概要を報告する。

　To the ENT specialists, both, laryngeal and esophageal foreign bodies are quite commonly met with and they are not considered as being rare in occurrence. With an early diagnosis of these conditions the treatments are usually simple and effective. But, in some cases where the recognition may be delayed, the removal procedure may prove to be, both, difficult and dangerous.

　The authors report 2 cases of esophageal foreign body due to the metalic cover of the medicinal tablets with were delayed in recognition. Malignant tumor was suspected at one time.
