Case 1 : A 40-year-old female complained of sore throat after swallowing a deep-fried shrimp. A piece of wire in the hypopharynx was found and removed through a rigid laryngoscope.

Case 2 : A 8l-year-old male was suffering from dysphagia, swallowing pain and a swelling of the left neck.

A tooth pick in the esophagus was found and removed through a rigid esophagoscope.

The foreign body seemed staying there since he ate a stuffed cabbege roll two months ago.
