側頭骨巨細胞腫—その文献的考察と自験例

A GIANT CELL TUMOR OF THE TEMPORAL BONE, CLINICAL EXPERIENCE WITH A REVIEW OF LITERATURE

　Ⅰ．緒言

　側頭骨に骨欠損ないしは骨破壊を認める疾患として中耳真珠腫以外には，中耳悪性腫瘍，Histiocytosis Ⅹ，さらには側頭骨巨細胞腫などが挙げられるがこれらはいずれも比較的まれな疾患であり，特に骨巨細胞腫についてはその報告例も少ない。

　今般私どもは側頭骨に発生した巨細胞腫の1例を経験したので本症の文献的考察と併せ報告する。

　A giant cell tumor of the temporal bone in a woman, aged 22, is reported. Clinical aspects in their occurrence, vulnerability by sex, x-ray and pathological manifestations are recorded with a review of literature.

　The authors state the giant cell tumors generally require treatment by extensive surgery and a long period of post operative observations.

　The patient was treated by extensive surgery of the temporal bone and no recurrence is noted at present, 13th month of observation.
