鼓膜穿孔耳に対する温度性眼振検査の一方法

A METHOD FOR PERFORMING THERMAL NYSTAGMUS TEST IN THE EAR WITH PERFORATED TYMPANIC MEMBRANE

　Ⅰ．緒言

　鼓膜に穿孔を有する耳について，通常の温水または冷水を用いる温度性眼振検査を行なう場合には，少なくともつぎの2点についての問題が起る。すなわち

　（1）温水または冷水が穿孔を経て中耳内に入り，半規管刺激の様式が穿孔の無い場合と異なりはしないか。

　In a case where there is a perforated ear drum and a neccessity of performing nystagmus test by using hot or cold water external ear canal irrigation, adopting some means by which entry of irrigation water into the middle ear cavity may be prevented becomes highly necessary. Towards this end the artificial tympanic membrane devised by the author is fully described.
