耳鼻咽喉科領域における"サチボン"の使用経験

"SACHIBON" IN THE FIELD OF OTOLARYNGOLOGY

　Ⅰ．緒言

　"サチボン"は従来繁用されているアスピリンを改良した新しい型のサリチル酸剤のシロップである。アスピリンと同様，解熱，鎮痛，抗リウマチ剤であるが，アスピリンに比して消化管よりの吸収が速いため，速やかな血中濃度が得られ，また従来のサリチル酸剤に見られた胃腸障害も少ない。

　今回，われわれは本剤を抗リウマチ剤としてでなく，もつぱら解熱鎮痛剤として使用した。またシロップとして，当然投与対象は大部分が幼小児であるが，わが領域の特殊性として成人でも，扁摘後痛，その他錠剤や散薬が，不適当と思われる症例にも投与してみた。

An improved product of salicylic acid called sachibon (composed mainly of choline salicy-late) was adiministered to 45 patients consist-ing of infants, children and adults for antife-brile analgesic purposes. The drug appeared to be ineffective towards allaying post-tonsil-lectomy pain. It has no side-effects even when it is administered in a relatively large dose.
