　Ⅰ．緒言

　化学療法剤，抗生物質の長足の進歩をみた今日においても，中耳炎に対するこれら薬物による治療成績は急性期には著効を呈するが，慢性期のものには，必ずしも満足すべき結果は得難い状態である。

　薬物療法の条件としては

It is almost impossible to expect a cure, by means of drug therapy in chronic otitis media. The cause of this difficulty was stu-died through animal expementations and cli-nical observations. With drug therapy admi-nistered either generally, or locally the agent reaching the involved area cannot be recog-nized or, if so, in a very small amount.
