ワンサン氏アンギーナについて

ON VICENT'S ANGINA

　Ⅰ．緒言

　抗生物質の発見およびその発達に伴ない，従来比較的稀なる疾患とされていた「ワンサン」氏「アンギーナ」は，さらに減少したものの如く思惟されるが，注意して咽頭の疾患を観察する場合には決して然らず，むしろその多きに驚く程である。しかしながら，「ペニシリン」などの抗生物質投与によりその予後は，良好であるため，近来その症例の報告には，ほとんど接する事がなくなつた。余らは昭和34年以来，広島三菱病院耳鼻科外来において，本疾患の26例に遭遇し，興味ある知見を得たので，ここにその大略を報告する次第である。

Twenty six cases of Vincent's angina were seen in the period of years from 1959 to May 1963. Morbidity of this disease is highest among those who ages are between 20 and 30; cases are highest in April but are likely to occur in the autum, particularly at the time of seaso-nal changes in weather. A sore throat is the usual complaint but there were cases who co-mplained of bloody sputum. Microscopic exa-mination revealed co-findings of Vincent's Spi-rocheat, bacillus fusiformis and gram-negative diplococcus. Penicillin appeared to be most effective towards of the disease.
