　Ⅰ．緒言

　耳鼻咽喉科領域に於いて，上顎癌，喉頭癌は屡屡遭遇する疾患で，その治療として，外科的療法，化学的療法，放射線療法等が行われている。化学的療法，放射線療法は早晩，その副作用がみられ，大抵の場合造血臓器への侵襲があらわれ貧血白血球の減少が出現する。今回全摘出術拒否の為，放射線療法及び化学療法を行つて小康を得た後，再発した標記患者に対して，上顎癌例にはレントゲン照射を喉頭癌例には唯1回の照射を行い同時に造血因子であるVB₁₂（シアノコバラミン）1000γ含有注射液，Redisolを併用した所，臨床的に著効を示し，短時日の間に腫瘍の驚異的な縮小患者の自覚症状の消失又は軽快した症例に遭遇したので，ここに報告する。

　Two cases of cancer were cured by use of anticancer drug in combination with X-ray irradiation. To the case of maxillary cancer without evidence of cervical metastasis residol solution (VB₁₂1000γ) was given daily by injections. To this was added X-ray irradiation of 900 r. When redisol was administered to the amount of 7,000γ the caneer began to recede in size and in a short while following this change the tumor disappeared completely. The second case was the cancer of larynx, to which was given x-ray irradiation of 112 r and 7,000γ of redisol. The hoarseness of the voice improved with other general conditions.
