喉頭麻痺の手術例とその筋電図

　Ⅰ．緒言

　喉頭の生理は相変らず学会の話題をにぎわす問題であるが，ここ数年来，やや研究のゆきつまつた感がないでもない。私どもは喉頭麻痺に関してSemon-Rosenbachの説，あるいはWagner-Grossmanの説等を教えられてきたわけであるが，逆にこれらを立証づけるとなると，今さらその難かしさに驚く。

　筋電図検査は，喉頭筋肉のはたらきを知る上に極めて重要な方法であることはいうまでもないが，対象が人間となると記録する上に何かと困難な問題が生じてくる。例えば果して筋電図の電極針が喉頭筋肉のどの部分に入つているかという根本的な問題から，すでに確実さが失なわれてくる。

Electromyograms were taken on each int-rinsic laryngeal muscles under a direct vision when the larynx and these muscles were exposed to view during the procedure of performing Woodman's laryngoplasty on 2 cases of laryngeal paralysis. It was found that, even in cases where it was considered as abductor paralysis, muscular activity of the abductor muscles was still evident. The cause of the picture the presents abductor paralysis is discussed.
