4年間介在せる気管異物（義歯）の1例

　I．緒言

　気管・気管支異物に関する報告は異物の多種性と合併症に起因する経過の多岐性とを報じている。就中これにもとづく死因が異物介在に原因する続発症によることが大部分である所から早期確認と摘出とに意を用いていることはここに述べる迄もない。

　然し乍ら無機性異物に於てはその介在部位とも関連して長期間にわたり所謂陳旧性異物となつて比較的無症状に経過する場合もありこれに関する報告も散見される。我々が此処に報告する症例は声門下腔腫瘍と疑診され，その原因が不明の中に4年間にわたり比較的無自覚のまま経過した声門下腔一上部気管異物（義歯）であつた極めて興味ある1例である。

A tracheal foreign body cosnsisting of a partial denture which was lodged in the upper portion of the trachea, an accident occurring at the time when the patient was saved from drowning, remained in situ for the period of 4 years without the knowledge of this fact to the patient nor with any symptoms what-soever, The patient was a man, aged 24.

The clasp of the denture, at the time of the removal which was effected by larygofissure approach, was found to be firmly lodged in the mucous membrane of the trachea which showed at this region advanced hypertrophy and a presence of a small amount of gr-anulation tissue growths. The patient made an uneventful recovery.
