副鼻腔を經て頬部に介在せし異物（竹片）の1例

　緒言

　異物は耳鼻咽喉科領域に於ては稀ではないが，副鼻腔異物は比較的珍らしくそれも戰時に見られることが多く銃彈が過半数を占めてゐる．最近鼻腔に竹箸が突き刺さり上顎洞を経て更にその前壁を破りその先端が折れ頬部に介在した稀有な症例に遭遇したので，茲に報告し諸賢の御批判を仰ぎ度いと思ふ．

Harada reports a case of foreign body in the maxillary sinus. The patient, a girl of 5 years of age, while holding a bamboo chopsticks in her hand fell down when one of the sticks acciden-tly pierced the right lateral naesl wall to enter the sinus cavity and, the sharp point of the st-ick advanced through the cavity to emerge on the right cheek. The stick was extricated by retracting through the point of entrance but, the end portion of which was broken off to re-main as a foreign body in the right maxillary sinus.
