長期介在声門下異物の1例

A Case of Subglottic Foreign Body

　はじめに

　幼小児の気道異物は比較的頻度の高い疾患である。しかし，そのほとんどは気管支異物であり，声門下異物の報告は稀である。今回われおれは2年8ヵ月の長期にわたり喘息として治療されていた声門下異物の症例を経験したので，臨床的問題点を検討し文献的考察を加え報告する。

A case of long-standing foreign body in the la-rynx is reported.

The patient was a 4. 6 year-old girl who deve-loped inspiratory stridor and cough after miss-wallowing a piece of plastic cup when she was one year and ten months old. Several pediatric doctors diagnosed her condition as asthma.

Indirect laryngoscopy and X-ray examinations revealed subglottic impaction of the foreign body. It was safelyextirpated under general anesthesia with jet ventilation.
