眩暈・嘔吐に対するトリオミンの効果

　I．緒言

　眩暈の緩解する過程を追跡することは，逆に眩暈発作の成立機転を究明する手懸りともなり得るので興味深いし，又必要なことであると思う。

　William Amollsは高度の眩暈悪心を訴え，自発眼振を呈した一人の患者に，偶々トリオミンを少量静注した所，眩暈及び悪心が消失したばかりでなく，自発眼振も殆んど分らなくなる程劇的な効果を認めたと報告して居る。たとえ偶然の経験とは云え此の報告は，トリオミンによつて眩暈を緩解し得た一つの過程を示すものとして興味深い。そこで我々は実際の症例についてトリオミンの効果を追試して見た。

Triomin is found to be quite effective in relief of symptoms in vertigo that is accom-panied by chill and nausea.

Triomin seemed to be ineffective towards prevention of attacks in Meniere's syndrome but it is effective in allaying of syptoms in this disease when manifested with rotatory vertigo with chilies and spontaneous nysta-gmus. It is ineffective towards improvement of tinnitus aurium and the loss of hearing.

Triomin may be used in other cases in whom the vertigo might be the chief offen-ding symptoms.

As side effects tiomin may cause a slight tachycardia and a slight abdominal pain which will immediately disappear on the decrease of the dosage used or stopping of its usage.
