耳鼻咽喉科手術後に於けるChloramphenicolの応用

　緒言

　化学療法の普及が各科領域の手術の後療法に大いなる改革を斉らした事は諸家の認める所である。その化学療法も全身投与法，局所投与法と年年進歩を続け，耳鼻咽喉科領域では特に局所投与法が著しく普及している。

　我々は最近数例ではあるが副鼻腔，口腔，咽頭の手術後にChloramphenicol（Paraxin，-山之内）を全身的に投与し，その臨床的効果の観察と細菌学的研究を行つたので此処に報告する。

Fujimori and associates state that a highly favorable results are obtained in recovery of postoperative wounds in paranasal sinus operations and tonsillectomies by use of chloramphenicol both, by local application and by general administration. When compared to similar use of Penicillin the wounds appeared to be cleaner by use of chloramphenicol. However, the overall results are not entirely free from questions and further stupy is necessary in order to arrive at their solution.
