耳鳴の一統計的観察

　緒言

　我々は日常耳鳴を訴える患者に屡々遭遇するが衆知の如くそれら患者に於て耳鳴の原因を耳鼻咽喉科的所見に求め得られる場合と，然らざる場合とが存在する。又自覚的に何等の疾患を有しない健康者に於ても耳鳴を訴えるものは比較的多い。

　さて耳鳴の統計的観察に関しては既に幾つかの報告を見るが，耳鼻咽喉科疾患乃至全身疾患を有するものに就ての観察が多い様である。茲に於て我々は健康者を含めてアンケートによる耳鳴の統計的観察を行つたのでその大要を報告する次第である。

Akaike and associates present a study on statistical observation of tinnitus which include those made upon individuals normal in health. The subject is categorically listed by sex, age, frequency of occurrence, either left or right or both, seasonal variation in occurrence, the ca-use, the nature and the manner which it may occur, the relation of tinnitus to physical fati-gue or blood pressure chnages, influence caused by impaction of ear wax and finally by evalu-ation of treatment to be adopted thereto.
