振子樣扁桃の1異例

　Ⅰ．緒言

　所謂振子樣扁桃は1885年ユーラス氏に依り初めて記載され，「口蓋扁桃自己がその茎により咽頭腔に懸垂せるものを振子樣扁桃と言う」，と定義された。由来，本症は本邦に於ても必ずしも珍しいものではないが，最近比較的大きく，然かも耳症状を主訴とした1例に遭遇したので此処に報告する。

YOSHIDA reports a case of pendulous tonsil that caused, in a woman aged 53, symptoms of hearing impairments, dysphagia and dyspnea. The mass from the throat when removed weighed 5.3g and measured 2×1.8×2cm and proved to be microscopically tonsillar tissues. The patient was cured of her symptoms after tonsillectomy.
