はじめに
扁桃より発生する有茎性の腫瘤を総括して広義の振子様扁桃と呼んでいる。一般診療においてときに遭遇する疾患であるが，病理組織学的には種々のものを含んでいる。
最近われわれは，口蓋扁桃からの振子様扁桃症例を4例経験したので，若干の文献的考察を加え報告する。
Four cases of pedunculated palatine tonsils are reported. Histological examinations showed simple tonsillitis, lymphangiectatic fibrous polyp, keratin cyst, and tonsillar metastasis from renal cell car-cinoma.
There were many histological features in pedun-culated tonsils, including malignant tumors, there-fore the authors considered that it was important to perform histological examination for the final diag-nosis.
