鼻腔通気度測定器の試作

　緒言

　鼻科診療に際し鼻腔通気度を確実に知る必要のあることは言を俟たない。しかるに鼻腔通気度の判定は専ら患者の自覚的訴へに依存しているのが現状ではないかと思はれる。これは恐らく従来から考へ或は用ひられている測定法が信頼するに足らないことが主原因であると思ふ。そこで我々は鼻腔通気度測定器の改良を意図して種々考案を試み，いささかの結果を得たので報告し諸賢の御批判を仰ぐ次第である。

INOUYE AND HARASHIMA deviseb an anemometer for measuring the amount of air that passes through the nasal cavity. The prin-ciple with which the measurement is made is by determining the velocity of air at the posteri-or choana by application of hot-wire anemometer and pressure of the respired air with a U-tube baromater with figures thusly obtained the coefficient of the loss of head is calculated by Bernelli's formula. The valne of such a calcula-tion in a normal person is for inspired air 7.74 to 12.02 and, for expired air from 12.58 to 15.46.
