鼻性化膿性脳膜炎の1治験例

　戰後我国で発表された鼻性化膿性脳膜炎の症例は，私の調べ得た範囲では5例，その中治癒したものは2例で，ペニシリンや各種の優秀な化学療法剤の発見された今日でも，決してその治癒率は高くない．

　最近私は鼻性化膿性脳膜炎の1例に，大量のペニシリン及びサルフアミン剤を種々の方法で使用すると同時に長期に亘り脳脊髓液を排除して，幸にも治癒せしめ得た症例に遭遇し，教えられるところが多々あつたので，ここに報告し，併せて諸賢の御批判を乞う次第である．

MASUDA reports a case of meningitis of nasal origin, in whom a man aged 18 was given treet-ments that consisted of administering 9,900,000 units of penicillin, 46.3g of sulfa drugs and removal of 9,810cc. of spinal fluids in total for a cure. During the course of this treatment penicillin was given intrathecally for 37 days but no side reactions were noted thereby excepting an occa-sional transient one.
