外傷性鼻性髄膜炎の1治験例

　Ⅰ．緒言

　我々は最近稀有な原因より，発症した外，外傷性鼻性髄膜炎を経験し，幸に治癒させることが出来たので茲に報告する次第である。

Yamaguchi and associates report a case of meningitis that originated from nasal trau-ma. A boy aged 10 while at play with a short piece of stiff wire generally used forclothes line accidently injured his nose by this wire entering the nasal cavity as he fell. The wire apparently pierced the cerebral ca-vity and the escape of cerebral fluid from the first day of the accident to the fifth day of involvement was estmated to be approxi-mately 70 cc. By Use of penicillin, strepto-mycin, and aureomycin the patient made an uneventful recovery in a short period of 17 days of treatment.
