舌根甲状腺腫症例

　甲状腺と同一構造を有する組織が，正規の位置以外の部位に於いて屡々見られる事は周知の事実であり，これを固有甲状腺に対し副甲状腺と云い，これが増大して腫瘍状をなしたものを副甲状腺腫と称している．Wolflen（1890）はこれを分類し正中部副甲状腺腫と側部副甲状腺腫とに分けている．前者に属するものの一つとして，甲状舌管の開口部即ち舌盲孔の部位に発生する舌根甲状腺腫がある．これは1869年Hickmanがはじめて報告したものであり，本邦に於いても，若林，小山．尾曾越をはじめ，中村，植松，久保，松浦其の他の報告がある．最近私もその例に遭遇したので茲に報告するものである．

　症例：武○キ○　50歳　農婦．

　Wada reports a case of adenomatous accessory thyroid at the base of tongue in a female patient 50 years of age. The patient was prepared with preliminary ligation of lingual artery and tracheotomy to avoid hemorrhage and acute dyspnea, after which the tumor was removed. The recovery was uneventful. Microscopically the growth colloidal presented a typical picture of degeneration of thyroid adenoma.
