上顎癌の病理組織學的研究

　緒言

　上顎癌の臨床的知見に就ては殆んどあらゆる方面に亘り論じ盡された感があり，之に就ては，余も亦先に「上顎癌の臨床的觀察特に豫後との關係」（大日耳鼻49卷11號）に於て詳細に報告した所であるが之に引續き，今回は手術により摘出した上顎癌23例に就てその病理組織學的檢索をなし，臨床的所見との關係，腫瘍の増殖過程及び惡性度等を論じ，次で從來なされなかつた所の上顎癌患者に於ける各副鼻腔粘膜の癌腫に未だ侵襲されない部分，即ち癌に對して未だ健常と思はれる部分の粘膜組織像をも觀察し種々興味ある結果を得たので茲に報告する．

In the survey of 23 cases of carcinoma of ma-xillary sinus, the author found that prognosis is good in those arising from fontanella because in these cases bones were not involved. Basal cell carcinoma showed better prognosis than the other types Degree of malignancy was determi-ned by the locations of tumor, histopatholgical picture, extent of spread of growth, and prese-nce of metastasis. In the mucous membrane where it is free from carcinomatous infiltration, metaplasia is far more marked than that foun-din sinusitis.
